Antique Handel Greek Key Geometric Leaded Lamp

This is an antique leaded lamp made by Handel back in the early 1900s. The shade is a leaded lamp shade in a Greek(Grecian) Key design, some people might call it a Geometric lamp shade. The base is definitely a Handel lamp base, it measures 23.5 inches in height, the bottom is 8 inches in diameter. The lamp shade is unsigned and measures 16 inches in diameter and 8 inches in height. I believe the lamp shade is all original and there are no cracks to the glass. The lamp base is a better then average Handel lamp base. While the shade is unsigned we definitely believe it is a Handel lamp shade. The shade has a 3.25 inch opening at the top. If anyone has more info about this lamp please email us and we’ll add to the description.

Domestic Shipping

We can send out items thru Fedex Ground or Priority Mail thru the post office.  We normally send out items within 2 to 3 days of receiving payment. Sometimes we will wait 5-8 days if payment was made by personal check so it clears the bank. We do provide tracking numbers with all purchases.  Please email us if you need different shipping arrangements. We do allow for personal pick up of certain items. Our shipping price includes the full amount of insurance, which is the final winning bid amount.

International Shipping

We ship items international but please email us for rates before bidding because some items are very expensive to ship due to weight, size, and double boxing that might be required.  We ship items to foreign countries thru USPS Priority Mail(Post Office), Fedex International and sometimes UPS international. We only ship to a verified PayPal listed address. We have to insure all packages for the final selling price so the buyer will be responsible for all taxes or duties entering their country. Sometimes packages that are shipped thru the post office can take longer then expected to get there, we are not responsible for this extra time at customs, so please be patient.  Items shipped thru the post office can only be insured for up to $500, if you want more insurance it will have to be shipped thru FEDEX.

A pretty signed Handel piano or desk lamp. This reverse painted shade is 8 inches long and with a nice woodland motif. Base has a good smooth and mellow patina. A word about the photos—-the flash makes the shade look rather speckled and ugly. Its not! There is some ’speckles’ but not at all distracting from the shade.

Upstate New York Collector comes this fine auction. Here we have a Unique Vintage Table Lamp. Both original bell pulls are in working condition. Both sockets are labeled General Electric (see photos). This lamp needs to be rewired. It is in excellent condition commensurate of it’s age. It has poppy’s on the stem.  The lamp’s dimensions are approximately 17.75″ tall with a 6″ diameter base. Vintage circa 1920s decorative table lamp. It has a signed, brass & copper colored metal Handel base, with large leaded glass dome shade -Green, red & yellow tiles, bells & jewels. Unsigned shade, very good quality, but I cannot say it is Handel. It is approx 23″ tall – shade is almost 18″ diameter x 8 1/4″ high. The (10″ diameter) metal base has HUBBELL double sockets with acorn pull chains (both sockets working). Shade & base in very good used condition. The shade is much more impressive in person & in excellent condition. Must be seen to be fully appreciated. Shipping & handling in 2 boxes in USA = $95. This is a beautiful Handel boudoir lamp with a fairy motif. I believe the base of this lamp is Handel while I believe the shade is a Pittsburgh—-neither are signed. Regardless of maker, it is a beautiful piece. Wonderful crackle glass elongated oval shade. Base with a pretty mellow patina (rewired). Overall 13.5 high with shade being 13.5 long and 4.5 deep.
